ROCK EAGLE
(Aquia Chrysaetos - Kaya Kartali)


They are the most efficient fliers of the skies. They glide down the hills and utilize thermal winds very well.
The rock eagle feeds on rabbits, turtles, snakes, frogs and some mammals.
They are under a constant threat of extinction because of heavy fertilizer and pesticide use in their natural habitat.
It measures approximately 90 cms.
