Tourism approach of
the present day has considerably diverged from the

is a regional tourism development project, which will

The project site is
located on the shores of Mandalya Bay in Milas, Mugla
which is about 200 kilometers from Izmir and 20 from
Bodrum. It is bordered by a channel at the south and has
a seashore of 4,750 meters.
Convenience in accessibility
The project site is
easily accessible by land, sea, and air transportation.
Besides being quite close to Izmir and Dalaman
International Airports, it is 8
kilometers away from both the local Imsik Airport and
the Bodrum International Airport. Kusadasi, Bodrum, and Marmaris
marinas are located at north and south
of the Milas area, of which the Marmaris Marina has a
capacity of 1000 yachts. Accessibility to the project
site through the highways is also very convenient.
Where ancient civilizations prospered
The site is located
in a region abundant with the ancient ruins of Greek and
Roman civilizations. The famous Byzantine city of
Bargylia is on the other side of the channel bordering
the site from south and southwest, and Cyndie, the
necropolis of Bargylia is within borders of the site.
Didyma, Euromoss, Iassus, Mylasa, Halicarnassos, Myndos,
and Ceramus are the other historical sites which are
within a radius of 50 kilometers.
A wide variety of facilities
will cover tourism accommodation facilities of a resort
hotel, a golf hotel, a training hotel, a seminar hotel and an apart-hotel
complex, housing various types of detached country houses and
golf villas, attached scenic villas, senior villages
, a golf course and a golf club, a
riding club, water games, sports and recreation centers,
entertainment facilities, a congress and exhibition hall,
and commercial centers.
True to nature
Spatial planning of
the project confirms with the topographical structure of
the site and provides maximum sea and land use
possibilities. Construction area has been kept low, and
large areas are devoted to the golf course, active and
passive green areas.
18-hole golf course
An 18-hole golf course
has been planned in an area
where scenic seashore and topographical surprises meet
for the increased pleasure of the players. Club
house is located at a hilltop between the first
and second 9 holes, a dominant vista point to be able to
watch almost all fairways.
2400 beds in Hotels only
The 300-bed Golf
Hotel, with a view of golf course on another
hilltop will mainly serve to the national and
international golf players. Resort Hotel,
with a capacity of 700 beds, is planned to be located on
a hill on the sea front where maximum seaside facilities
are offered. It has a neighborhood with a central
commercial zone. Seminar Hotel, with a
capacity of 800 beds, is also planned to be built on the
hill on the sea front cliffs where it will have views of
both the Aegean and the inner sea coasts with very
spectacular distant islands and other settlements. A
600-bed Training Hotel will serve for
the training of the tourism personnel and will cover the
needs of the surrounding region, to help keep up with
the increasing demand for Turkey.
