PASABAHCE GLASS COLLECTION (19th - 20th century)
The first thing that glass reminds me of, is the Rheims Cathedral all the stained glass windows of which were shattered by the German bombers during the Second World War. This Gothic building was enlivened again by Chagall who engraved glass like painting a picture. The reflection of red and blue in modern designs of the Cathedral windows are bewildering.
